My guess is that is why elnk is spending so much to brand... That's an awful expensive way to sign subs. Fine in the days of unlimited capital and no bottom line accountability, but not now (actually, that freedom from accountability was never fine, but the people investing the money made the rules). ELNK needs to convince people they can get what they want and be taken care of when things aren't working right. To do that, they need people to try them out. The fastest way to get people to try them out is through sign-up promotions (incentives) or through acquisitions, and right now, acquisitions may be the cheapest and fastest. Brand building ad campaigns are neither cheap nor fast in producing new subs. JMO, of course. I am a finance guy, after all. You are the marketeer, right? Am I off base? Bob
