DJ, That sure was a nasty close on the NDX.

Contrary to my rantings about not buying any more individual stocks, the Phleet acquired 1400 GE, 2000 AXP, 675 GLW, 500 LLY and still have 500 WCOM. Haven't run the numbers but I'd say I'm about 40% at sea. It's hard to get excited with all the short term TA at the top. However, as long as OEX ~709 holds, I got to have a bet on the table that the direction is up. Clearly, I'm seriously light on tech and wouldn't buy into the retail at these prices.

I find that my debit card works just as well as a credit card (except when renting cars) and keeps me out of a whole lot of trouble. In any case, I doubt the cost to consumers of credit cards will go down.
