Bullrider, I totally agree,,,children are definitely smarter today than in our day. I overheard my sister in law talking to my daughter about the "minuteman" atop the state house where we live. As I sat there and kind of, sort of eavesdropped on my daughter's complete explanation of this, I was in amazement!! I am not originally from this state but I have been here for about 11 years now. One would think that I would have taken the time to learn a little about the state I chose to live in instead of waiting until my 8 year old daughter fills me in (okay technically she filled in my sister in law, but as a parent, eavesdropping is allowed, right? )
