mr mark, IE5.5 font setting affects OE5.5 font: recently I check-marked tools>internet options>general>accessibility>ignore font sizes/styles specified on web pages This was an improvement for viewing certain SI posts. But I noticed that while composing a message in OE5.5 I could no longer adjust font and font size. I could still use color, bold etc. Today I tried unchecking the above: voila - OE lets me change fonts again. Gottfried - and thank you for the nav alert :)
