thanks Shalom, i know that at one point i kind of 'stank up' the ask god thread, but your kindness now is a sort of salve for all of that. it's as though your offering the olive branch to me brings closure to that whole time period. yes the family is well. i trust that yours is as well. last summer, my father took 23 of his family; he and his wife, 5 of his 6 children, and 4 in-laws, along with 12 grandchildren; he took us all to alaska. my mother related recently that during the trip she'd felt like a part of the tribe of israel, with G-d leading us all safely, day and night. ...23 travellers and nary a hitch in the entire plan... i've been eating fresh-frozen halibut ever since! if you want to talk blessings!!... dad caught the kahuna, the 300-pounder. it was only fitting. i will never forget glacier bay; to me that must be the closest thing to heaven on earth; there in the summer when the twilight is seemingly never-ending. thanks for letting me share... shalom to you, Shalom Andy
