SUNGOLD ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTORS
Vancouver, British Columbia [Business Wire] January 30, 2001. Sungold Entertainment Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: SGGNF
News) announced today the appointment to the board of Sungold Entertainment Corp and Horsepower Broadcasting Network
Inc (HBN) and the granting of 100,000 incentive stock options in Sungold Entertainment Corp. at $0.15 USD per share for five
years to both Steven Marette and Peter Morgana.
Steven Marette, B. Sc. age 38 was the operating manager for Technical Systems Testing. Steven was the lead project
manager for the government of Antigua and Barbuda (the largest licensed internet gaming jurisdiction in the world). Mr.
Marette managed and developed gaming machine testing programs, systems acceptance programs and technical
standards/training programs for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Ontario Lottery and
Gaming Corporation, Oregon Lottery Corporation and The State of Arizona. Steven wrote and published the internet standard
for the government of Dominica Republic. Steven is currently President of M2 Works Corporation an independent consulting
business.

Peter Morgana, P.Eng. age 38 has 15 years of experience managing logistics and operations with high technology
companies. Recently Mr. Morgana was the Director of Facilities Management for Electronic Arts (Canada) (ERTS: Nasdaq)
and was responsible for completing the final stages of the construction process and implementing all facility management
operations and services at Electronic Arts new 207,000 sq. ft. world class facility. Electronic Arts is a leading high
tech/graphic design company doing work for prominent online firms such as AOL and employs 550 people at Discovery Place
in Burnaby, BC. Peter currently holds a senior position with Olympia & York Properties Ltd. and is a director of M2 Works
Corporation.
