why it is "stupid"?
Because you can't grow yourself out of debt when the economy is running full steam. Cutting revenues in that circumstance will not make the economy grow and will only increase national debt. Once Bush is done with the economy I'm sure there will be plenty of room for growth, but that is similar to Dell growing 50% from $14 when it couldn't grow further at $50. Bush has to cause a recession to have a reason to cure it.
