mr mark, a small problem: yesterday I got the blue screen stack overflow message after boot on my laptop. It said minSP=5, so I went to system.ini and inserted minSP=8 at the beginning of the [386Enh] area. I did this from memory because it had been discussed here.

Today I got the same warning, again saying 5 stacks were allocated. So I moved the statement to the end of the [386Enh] area. Here's what it looks like now...

[386Enh]
ebios=*ebios
woafont=dosapp.fon
device=*dynapage
device=*vcd
device=*vpd
device=*int13
device=*enable
keyboard=*vkd
display=*vdd,*vflatd
mouse=*vmouse
MinPagingFileSize=196052
PagingDrive=C:
MinSP=8

I have Win98SE, 600MHz PIII, 196 MB DRAM. The Norton doctor says Windows is OK. After the blue screen warning appears, I hit enter and continue without problems. Does anything come to mind? Don't spend much time on this.
