ESPN's 2001 Winter X Games On-Air With Chyron Graphics
MOUNT SNOW, V.T.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2001--Chyron
Corporation (NYSE: CHY - news), a leading provider of
broadcast hardware, software and services spanning television
and the Internet, today announced that ESPN will utilize a
host of systems from Chyron Graphics, a division of Chyron
Corporation for the 2001 X Games.
ESPN's integration of the Chyron gear into its on-air
graphics suite provides continuity with last year's
competition, where ESPN also worked with Chyron for the
Winter Xgames graphics coverage. On hand to create a wide
range of 3D animations and distinctive headshots will be two
Chyron Duet video platforms running Lyric animation and
graphic software, a Chyron Aprisa 300 Video Replay System and
Chyron's iNFiNiT! CG.

in helping ESPN and the X Games get eye-catching graphics
live to air or live to tape faster and easier than ever

The 2001 Winter X Games will be featured on ESPN, ESPN2 and
ABC Sports from February 2-6.
