But not a great one. His personal failings will always leave a shameful blemish on his otherwise good record. And that, in my opinion, is a consequence well-deserved.

Personally, I think his "marriage" is nothing more than a political act, which is why his "marriage" is so intricately tied to his political survival. But that's just my uninformed opinion.
