Edit text with ease
Through PageTutor, Net Resources discovered Notetab, a simple yet extremely powerful text editor that makes an excellent alternative to Windows Notepad. The freeware version allows you to have multiple files open simultaneously, and navigate between them by clicking on various tabs. It also has a powerful search-and-replace feature and lets you customise how files are displayed very useful if you're using it as a HTML editor. Other features include text macros, a tool to add or strip HTML tags and, my favourite, the auto-save option. The shareware version adds extra functionality, including a spellchecker and thesaurus, template tool and its own scripting language.
