Okay, which is it? Total return would be rather ridiculous in my view and it would have made a huge difference to know that in advance rather than be told the contrary. Total return would be fine if you invested a set amount in each stock; average percentage increase is how every other stock contest I've seen works, and is the only way if you "buy" a set number of shares of each pick. So please clarify, is it the before the deadline explanation or the after the deadline explanation? Or do you mean TOTAL PERCENTAGE gain -- i.e. add up all 5 percentage gains (same difference as the average, you know!).
