It's hard to charge someone for the services you suggest AND keep advertising revenue. How would you like it if every time you picked up your phone to make a call you had to wait for someone to tell you about the new Ford? I don't think the two revenue sources are compatible. The reason that Yahoo is trying to get away from the advertising model, IMO, is because the advertisers are discovering how ineffective it is. And why would I want to store my CDs and DVDs on Yahoo storage? Seems like pie in the sky to me.
