I think that the old saying "you can't fight the fed" may be wrong here. With energy prices acting like a tax on corporate profits and consumer purchases, will interest rate cuts and tax cuts do the job? We may have a continued transfer of profits from tech, old economy and everything else to energy producers and those that supply and service them. I like these short term tech plays, but I think the real buys in tech may come later. I'm curious to know what you base your nas 3000 benchmark on. Ed
