Sounds like the price of oil is heading to 100$ a barrel again ... just read that if FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS everything continues rosy then Canada will be the envy of the G7 planet. Is the Royal Bank so completely pessimistic on Canada's ability to do something about getting it's real economy moving that it's chief forecaster's are praying for everything to be perfect. With close to 30 million people are we so small a market ... are we always going to be an also ran full of self pity ... are we going to leech of the success of everyone else ? Any opinions on true Canadian competiveness ... can we support health care and education at the current tax rates ... how do we attract more service/commercial activity to boost that good old current account? Does anyone know which sectors we have deficits in ...

P.S. If Paul Martin goes ... so goes the market! Strap on those anti-gravity boots.
