Mark - FYI - lots of factors at play on MCDT. Not sure I would rely solely on TA on this one. Biggest factor is the EMC spin-off distribution coming in about a week. Gonna have some folks who get MCDT that don't want it - so they will sell and create downward pressure. Add to that, the float will increase dramatically. Plus according to Cramer (yea, I know many don't like him), the stock had been overshorted - and the brokers were having trouble delivering shares to big buyers today because of lack of supply - These buyers apparently pushed the issue - causing the brokers/mm's to have to buy-in MCDT in the open market to deliver the shares - hence causing todays squeeze. Whether you like or or hate him - he called this potential squeeze at 53 earlier today. In any case, I would just be careful on any MCDT buys based only on TA
