I don't recall making a big deal out of Clinton's gifts, although I might have expressed some distaste. I certainly did not pursue a lengthy argument about Clinton's gifts. I do not, of course, think that those things that I complained about during the Clinton administration were in the "so what" category. I will take one theme. Do you think that Clinton behaved in a "so what" manner by being willing to characterize Monica Lewinsky as a deluded stalker rather than own up to his mistake? Do you think that he had the right to put Betty Curry in the middle, making the poor woman suffer and spend a lot of money on attorneys, rather than admit a mistake? I am not talking about impeachable offenses, here, I am talking about the kind of guy Clinton is, willing to sacrifice friends wantonly to his own interests........
