Frank,

I finally did it, I told the local phone company to take a hike (sort of) and now my business will run on one DSL line, one fax line (looking for an online replacement) and a main number that is wireless. No more Centrex or multiline phones. When I announced it to a friend he asked me if there was such a thing as a wireless server that you could connect to your tethered existing phone lines. I thought if there isn't perhaps there should be because I have to tell you that more and more of my clients are talking about doing what I did today. I have to confess it feels great to be down to one $18 a month fax line from Verizon.
