15:21 01-FEB-2001 Softbank, e2-Capital to spin off finance JV Yoshitaka Kitao, chairman of Softbank Investment International (Strategic), said that its JV deal with e2-Capital (0378-HK) is expected to be completed by March. Upon completion, e2-Capital will hold an 8.7 pct stake in Softbank. The share swap between Softbank with Chinadotcom is also expected to close in March. In reaction to the price premium claimed by his critics, Mr Kitao said that he thinks positively and is considering spinning off the JV. ww5.e-finet.com
