The demonstration will be an automated vehicle merge manoeuvre involving three vehicles that are fully automated and coordinated over a real-time wireless LAN running a protocol designed by the UC Berkeley researchers. There will be two vehicles on the mainline road and the third vehicle will approach on an entering lane and autonomously merge into the gap between the two on the mainline. The demonstration will be done at low speed and the attendees will be able to ride in the cars during the demonstration. There will also be an opportunity to see some of their other OFDM networks.
