I think of TA mostly as a defensive weapon....

I want to pick good companies with growth potential. That's why I'm focusing on biotech, the potential is HUGE.

But I do believe that if you don't want to get taken to the cleaners, you need the TA for backup, to know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.

MLNM is a good example. I'd love to just buy the company and see it go up because it's a great company, but for the last few months I've been in & out several times as I see the market cycling.

If they finally get tired of playing with the company I can afford to pay "too much" to get back in, until then it looks like I'll keep going in & out when I think I can turn a few bucks.

I'm not interested in daytrading per se, 1) because I don't have enough capital and 2) because I do want to hold some good companies.

I've created a directory, www.spiritsites.com\stocks
There are two chart studies posted there, MLNM and NEOT.
Comments welcome.

These directories will be passworded in the next couple of days because I want to make it clear that they are up there for personal/discussion/nonprofesssonal use and not be in violation of copyright.
