World Bank ready to renew cooperation with Sudan Text of report by Sudanese TV on 31 January The energy and mining minister, Dr Awad Ahmad al-Jaz, has held a meeting with the World Bank delegation which is currently visiting the country in the framework of the bank's initiative to discuss the resources of the states of the Nile Valley basin. The delegation explained the objective of the World Bank which was to rally the Nile valley basin states to adopt a common vision to benefit from their power projects. The delegation expressed interest in renewing cooperation with Sudan by developing new prospects after Sudan had succeeded in its economic policies.
