Windows 2000 is getting nearer a usable command line, too. It has a telnet server and vbscripts can automate more and more tasks. The main issues are still that users don't know where to look for documentation on the activex objects used, and that many Windows programs don't deliver their functionality as ActiveX objects or command line programs.
