Pathetic might be too flattering a term for the Flyers goaltending. Look for Hextall, Snow and the zamboni to be in goal on Thursday. Even then the Wings likely win 2-1 in OT because the zamboni overheats when it drives over an octopus <g>. I feel good for Yzerman and Shanahan - they deserve a cup. Lindros will win his share someday. Too bad for Hawerchuk though. Likely his last chance for Stanley's mug. He might not have even cracked the lineup had Prospal not gone down early in the playoffs. As for the Russians, they play with more heart than most give them credit for. Konstantinov plays with more guts and lays out some of the best hits you'll ever see. He is the only Russian player I've ever seen that I think could have played in the old 6 team NHL. The Flyers need to start using their size a little better. Get the puck deep and forecheck. They are making too many "cute" neutral zone giveaways and turnovers which a team like the Wings can convert over 50% into goals. I still think Vernon is overated so the Flyers are not dead yet. Time for Lindros to have a "Messier like" guaranteed win night. el
