imo a/r booked on the purchase would not affect future sales. the entry when cash is received is debit cash and credit ar. but i am open to other explanations, especially if there are other deferred assets on the opening balance sheet. i am going to see if i can obtain a beginning balance sheet from the company. if they are going to give it to the analysts, why not to me?
