GLMC, saw this rumor on Yahoo: by: canmoose2001 02/01/01 11:26 pm EST Msg: 393 of 404 Okay, I have heard this from an ex-employee, they said that Metcalfe has hired some tech guy who discovered a new streaming technology. It is 100 times better than Real Networks. Supposed to look just like television, but it does not need a player. Seems that the NFL and the NBA were pushing GLMC for results and Metcalfe hired this guy and bought his technology. The whole company is buzzing about it.
