Hi Link Lady, Actually Jay's post was referring to a quite serious undertaking of the Broadband Wireless Forum.... regarding their upcoming demo. Unfortunately his posted link is no longer valid, as the Ofdm-Forum site has been recently updated. New Link is at ofdm-forum.com Also, if one would note at this link, that the Chair of this group is a company called SmartMove. ofdm-forum.com SmartMove is a spinoff of a very serious research (IMEC) outfit in Flanders... See imec.be for an interesting Newsletter # 28 (Oct 00), regarding IMEC, its spinoff -Smartmove, Philips , and other members of the OFDM Alliance (now forum). All in all --- an exciting new Last-Mobile-Mile initiative. Thus far , this group seems to have shied away from this stuff. Perhaps old ideas die hard ??? Best Regards, Mardy.
