Hi Paula. Thanks for starting this thread on an important subject, to which any biotech or new econ investor in 2000 can personally attest. I also look at ta as just one component among many others (company /revenue/earnings outlook, interest rate trends, sector outlook, tax consequences, portfolio risk management strategies, etc.) that result in a good investment decision. Given the current tax structure and its investment implications, I am now choosing to 'trade' less than you. Nevertheless, market volatility suggests that your approach of timing entries and exits based on short or medium term market cycles can make perfect sense. What ta are you using?
