Hi Gary - Who's got a time machine? I need one! I'd like to go back and change my response to your changed post... but I can't. SI won't let me. But I can post to the thread that my response is, of course, now totally inappropriate for the revised content! I can also say "thank you" for removing the material I found offensive and for replacing the nonsense with sound logic. For what it's worth, perhaps the length of our debate on the subject is indicative of the problem itself. The hidden costs of option compensation are very difficult to appreciate - which, I suppose, is the whole reason they remain hidden right out in the open. John.
