I know the feeling...

Just when one gets so comfortable with just about anything, one of two things happen: It breaks, or if it's a consumable, they stop making them.

And keyboards have a learning curve. I spent months of frustration adapting to my new Laptop. Although most keys are in the same locations, the few that aren't drove me nuts.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. Enter! Who decides the shape of this key? And the name? Pressing the Enter key generates a Carriage Return. Early (Pre PC) computers had Return keys, while H/P calculators had Enter.

I'd be on the phone helping some poor soul and I'd tell them to press the Return key. After a long silence, they'd reply that they couldn't find it.
