Hi everyone... well we shorted the heck out of a bunch of solid triggers today...PMCS---VRSN---CMVT---and sundry others too... it was an obvious "Trend Day Down"..selling all back side bounce to the 20 ema on the 5 minute chart... here's the morning e-mail i sent out today... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Good Morning everyone well i got a lot of nice e-mails yesterday after the "Open House Day"..want to thank all the members for hanging in there...it was like pulling teeth trading, so slow...but it did manage to chop me up a bit<VBG>... quick reminder..all those folks that are going to the EXPO, we are doing Din Din Sunday nite together...i need a head count...e-mail me please...it would be the 18th...Little Italy area..anyone that knows a good resturant let me know... It looks like the bios and the semis are pulling back here...that means so will the NAZ....i really do not see any major selling right now...the carrot, and warning to the short sellers is a surprise rate cut bewtween now and March's FOMC...so we have to think a solid floor is in place right now...i'll check it over the weekend for where this pullback should take us... want to talk about earnings plays...we should trade them, but only selected stocks...when you look at Breifings daily list it's mindboggling at how many companies report...too many stocks to watch and try to trade is not good...forget it...just bring me 1-2 stocks you like and i'll check them before their report date... let's try to keep our focus lists down to a managable 10-20 stocks..my 10, and ten others...more than enough to gawk at each day huh???..less is better..i've always said that...so each day thru eps, i'll add 2-3 earnings plays for an expected run up ...but only 2-3 days before the actual date...we are looking for a quick hit and run play period... also try to focus on 1-2 stocks each day and keep trading them once you get a feel for the supports and resistance ares..check the 15 chart for those S & R's....please draw lines in the first 30 minutes..the top and bottom prices..and watch to see if they break up or down..excellent trigger points each day...then we'll re draw during lunch..let's get together on this...
