I signed the petition as well. I have not first hand ever seen the "puppymills" as I don't think I could stomach it. Those type of things haunt me for a long time.

We recently got a new puppy. She was delivered to us by the previous owners, who were from Western NY. I suspect she is the product of a puppy mill. We were lied to about the age of this puppy when we got her. I was not very happy that a puppy just 4 weeks old was taken and sold. I had to feed the puppy with a spoon for the first 4-5 days we had her. I really had a tough time explaining to my children why someone would remove a puppy from it's mom so early. They were upset by the entire situation.
