Thanks for the generous offer! My last two dogs were shepards, they were both great but between bad hips and too many memories I'm ready for something else. A mix of any 2 of these breeds is what I'll be after, retreiver, shepard, husky, dobie, malamute, elkhound, collie, akita. When I got my last shepard I was told she was a pure breed but she had no papers because the male jumped a fence and the neighbors weren't talking. I didn't believe the story, her ears didn't standup, I was sure she was at least 1/4 retreiver. Well 2 weeks after I got her the ears went up and sure enough she looked like a pure shepard from that point on. My 1st shepard had papers, her parents were show dogs.
