EMC attacking NTAP or NTAP quietly disrupting EMC?

This is a post on the subject of the direction of NAS and regarding how NTAP is moving NAS not just as an alternative or niche solution but as actually a replacement for SAN. Might it be that EMC has seen this long-term and the real story here is not NAS market becoming crowded as EMC moves in, but rather EMC desperately attempts to gain foothold in NAS market before it overwhelms SAN market?

I don't know, but I thought this post is very topical and at the heart of the EMC vs. NTAP debate. I figured some good old DS or other opinions could be rendered
