| You are probably right, because the traders that bought in the low 40's are going to get out with their profit... the shorts are jumping in on the action... once again though, they will be skittish based on the prospect of some good news in the short term. Since I am not a trader and can't afford to sit here and watch all day long everyday I just buy when there is blood in the streets, which I have already done. Remember, this is not some high flyer with no earnings, this is a premiere stock that will only go up from this range. Focus on the fact that optics is going to triple over the next couple of years and the two best companies around are about to become one. Look out a couple of years and forget about it. If they push it back into the low 40's or even the 30's again I will just buy some more. Really don't think that is going to happen... going to have to be happy with what I already own. Also, not much volume here, the market is acting very orderly, this looks like a much improved, healthy market again from my perspective. I was trying to short stocks in the Oct-Dec sell-off, made a few bucks but basically wasted my time... you get tooooooo scared when you are short, it is the most dangerous game on the planet. You don't want to be short if Greenie throws out another 1/4 - 1/2 pt surprise, which he could do at any time... I think that was a warning shot across the bow in early January... a lot of people got hammered. |
