PDA Sales Figures for December 2000

intelectmt.com

"It looks like December was an interesting month for PDA manufacturers according to NPD Intellect's latest sales data. It turns out that of all the PDAs sold in December 2000, Palm sold 67.5%, Handspring sold 16%, Casio sold 9.7%, Royal (yup, the DaVinci folks) sold 1.8% and HP sold 1.8%. The two interesting things that jump right out at me about these numbers is Palm's slip below 70% and Royal making the list at all. Compaq obviously isn't there since it's very hard to sell a product that is backordered basically everywhere."
