Your concurrence is very hearty! A correction, though: I am speaking of an intrinsic right, based on the nature and the requirements of human existence. I see in looking at the literature that the modern madness has been busy at work changing definitions, and reducing rights to a meaningless word of favoritism or indulgence. How sad.

I think it is silly to talk about the manufacturing of rights. I have never done it. How could I? I think it is dishonest for any person or government to make laws or rules and then call them rights. I wonder why they do it?

I don't equate rights with permission to live. I don't need your permission to live. If you wish to kill me you must use force. I will not cooperate in your illusion that I do not have the intrinsic right to live my life--and to defend my life.

My right to life is not extrinsic. Those who believe they create rights for others, believe that the individual exists by their indulgence, and not by immanent right. Therefore, they believe they can throw honey cakes to Cerberus, and call these sops rights. This would be amusing if it wasn't so evil, illogical, uncivilized, and dangerous. SLAVERY LIVES! HOORAY!!!
