If you could find a company that would benefit from the big need for reinvestment in the electricity infrastructure, I'd like to hear about it. I'm familiar with the usual players on the energy side, I'm thinking along the lines of transmission equipment. As mentioned, the Western US is exhausting itself trying to keep Cali juiced, and there's a lot of frayed wire that will need replacing, along with other chit I'm not knowledgeable about. I contacted an engineer with a local power company, he thinks Cali gets repeated in NYC this summer, doesn't see any quick fix.
