Hi saves,

I don't expect a buy out. Here is this quarter's info.

Forecast:
Operating earnings this quarter are likely to fall from a year ago, while profits for the full year will only match the 2000 level, the company told analysts via a conference call.

Revenues Higher However Expenses Increased More
Revenue for the funds manager totaled $793.2 million during last quarter, up 35% from $585.5 million a year earlier. Expenses, however, also rose 40% to $568.2 million as compensation costs, distribution payments and general administrative costs increased.

They May Do Better Than Their Forecast Or Worse - It depends on the market.
Bruce Calvert, the company's chief executive officer, said the gloomy forecast did not take into account of the stock market's strong performance in January.
