WHG, you say volume increasing on the downside? Looking at two month chart (first one) it looks like it is decreasing to me, don't get your point.

If you mean that there is an increas from day to day on the downside, yes... But to me that just means there are a few guppies holding the stock.. If you look at the two month chart it looks like the guppie factor is deceasing, consolidation into stronger hands.

I agree on the time frames, and I've switched to only holding the stock for a few days, although at some point I expect it to reverse and then want to hold longer.

As for TA on the index, I seem to rely on intraday patterns a lot and can't find intraday on the index.
