If you mean that there is an increas from day to day on the downside, yes.

That is what I meant... 1/30 the volume ~ 2.6 million shares, 1/31 ~2.63 million, 2/1 ~4.73 million, and 2/2 ~4.8 million shares.

As for TA on the index, I seem to rely on intraday patterns a lot and can't find intraday on the index.

Hmmn...who do you use for data? If it is bigcharts.com, then try "btk" or "bbh".

The hard part about TA is that it is not just black and white, leaving a lot of gray >gg<
