Very interesting on Jabez. I did go review that chapter after your pointing it out. Found it to be quite on target.
I also noted that the city where the scribes lived was also called Jabez....and in doing some research I also found out that it was most likely named for Jabez....indicating that he was more than likely a scribe, which was a another piece of interesting info. Not all scribes were Kenites but all Knenites were scribes. This fellow Jabez may be more interesting to me in my studies than you were aware of.
The Kenites infiltrated the House of Israel and became as they, (the Israelites).... in order to be known as an Israelite, however, they were not, instead they masqueraded among them in order to accomplish their evil deeds.
They still in fact exist to this day, and Christ had warned of them...in more than one place in the word of God. His warning called for us to be aware of their existence, their plan.....and to Watch and pray, we are to be watchman.!
Also I2, Don't forget Chronicles was not just a list of the Jewish born.....Jews were just 1/12 of the Israelites, in that Judah was just one tribe of the 12
