December 2000 - In cooperation with MAN Trucks and Weibomb Enterprise Company in China Epoke A/S has delivered an airport spreader, model SH 4520 Runway Combi mounted on a MAN truck to Beijing Int’l Airport in China.

December 2000 - In cooperation with our distributor in Korea, Myung Seung Trading Co., Epoke A/S has delivered a PWV 87 HKD Airport De-icer featuring a spreading width up to 24 m to the new Inchon Int’l Airport in Seoul.

June 2000 - Epoke A/S announces the receipt of a contract from the United States Air Force. This contract includes the supply and installation of an unlimited number of Epoke SW 3500 2T spreaders to all of the snowbelt USAF bases in the United States, Germany, Korea and Japan. This order is part of a large order received by the company GPS Integrators Inc. concerning “SNIC” equipment, which - in addition to the Epoke spreaders - consists of the following:

· Anti-icing sprayers provided by Batts Inc.
· Griptester continuous friction testers by GPS Integrators Ltd.
· GP Maps Pro runway conditioning reporting and thermal & friction mapping systems by GPS Integrators Ltd.

It is believed this new equipment and technology (US patent) will minimize USAF costs, and maximize efficiencies, in converting from urea to the new, much more expensive anti and de-icing chemicals sodium formate, sodium acetate, and potassium acetate.

USAF has closely worked with and monitored the success of the Canadian Department of National Defense from the beginning of CDND's efforts to make this changeover several years ago. CDND’s force of spreaders mainly consists of Epoke SW 3500 2T spreaders.

Now that this contract has been placed, it is expected that all snowbelt USAF and CDND air force bases will be equipped with GPS Integrators Inc.'s new SNIC system by the end of 2000, and Epoke spreaders will form a significant part of this contract.
