The Nineties

Today Epoke is owned by the 3rd generation.

With subsidiary companies in Germany, Sweden, France, Poland and the U.S.A. as well as dealers in Norway, Iceland, the Faroes, Belgium, the U.K., Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Luxemburg, Italy, Japan, Korea, Austria, Finland, Latvia, Slovenia and White Russia Epoke is the most export oriented manufacturer of machinery for treating icy roads.

Epoke now has approximately 250 employees in Denmark and 60 employees with its foreign subsidiaries.

Epoke’s product range includes sand and salt spreaders, liquid spreaders, combination spreaders, airport spreaders as well as sweepers, snow ploughs and professional grass cutters for mounting on tractors and trucks. Also today Alfred Thomsen’s invention of the Epoke principle in 1955 forms the basis of the Epoke spreaders and is still considered to be the best principle for spreading sand and salt.

Worldwide over 100 000 Epoke machines are operating.
