cheeky netscape communicator4.76 was primarily a security upgrade that fixed this problem. the end of the article you posted states: "The Netscape Security Site, listed below, has not yet posted any fix." that's wrong. nc4.76 fixes it. the article's date (August 8, 2000) is a tip off. [edit: to quote the netscape security site on this matter.... "This vulnerability has been identified in Netscape Communicator versions 4.0 through 4.74 on Windows, Macintosh and Unix operating systems. This vulnerability does not affect Netscape 6. Netscape has released Netscape 4.76 and Netscape 6, which are not subject to this vulnerability."] :) mark
