Agreed, I'm sure that that's what Scott had in mind. He just didn't state it clearly. Otherwise you could pick a $100 stock and 4 penny stocks and the 4 penny stocks wouldn't matter. Add up the percents of each and divide by 5. For example i have gains of -0.7%, +3.6%, +2.8%, +7.3%, 0.0% for an average gain of 13.0 / 5 = 2.6%. No other method makes sense. I'm sure Scott has written a program to automatically calculate the results from the posted portfolios. That's probably why they had to be named after our handles.
