Tommaso: very nice outline of the avalanche of problems now facing the ClownBuck. It's a miracle it's held up as well as it has. But its clearly circling the drain at this point. I think energy issues will be the final dagger that does it in...cold weather is expected in the next couple of weeks, and NG has already started to rebound (the inflationary effects of higher NG prices in industries that use it as a primary input, ie, fertilizer and metal smelting is just beginning, and shortages in these base products will pressure inflation figures throughout 2001).

The technical picture on the dollar is also clearly dangerous:

We have a major Head&Shoulders top forming with a rising neckline at approximately 108.50. If that gets breached on a closing basis, the deterioration will be fast and furious. The next rate cut could do it, as could any of the issues you've cited. When that happens, activity on the thread should pick up nicely....

Got EUN/WS? Seems like relative Euro strength is a great way to play this....
