Eric L.

My god, you, the mighty Eric L, one of the most respected, articulate, generous posters on these here SI boards - a rabid closet Qualcomm cheerleader ?

Wow. I know you've been a Q bull for a long time, but rare is the occassion we see your exuberant side! <g>

Thanks for your response. I suppose my post makes it appear as if I've lost heart in Q but it's not true. On the contrary, I'm bullish as ever - 3G emerging from the mist of ideas and plans and entering reality has a lot to do with that.

Over the last year the risks facing Q have been slowly but surely whittled away to the point where I feel there are only 2 left - delayed adoption of 3G/and or delayed acceptance. Both disappear with the passage of time.

My distaste for these 2 risks are due to the inner conflict I have inside me - the childish, greedy, i-don't-want-to-wait part of me in battle with the adult, rational, patient, ltb&h investor part of me.

The rational and patient side of me keeps me focused on the big picture, while the childish, greedy side of me screams in agony when there is any whiff of delayed gratification. The adult keeps the child in check most of the time.

3G is a Trillion dollar market just for the Infrastructure Razors ... add on top the real gravy, the 'thin client' Razor Blades - each with a QUALCOMM chip or QUALCOMM IP inside. Can you count? How fast? How High?

Brng! Brng! Brng! goes the QUALCOMM cash register with a QUALCOMM chip inside.

You wanna know something? When I read this, I scrolled to the top to do a double take on who wrote it. When I got to this passage I thought, nah, this isn't Eric L, this is Mq . Lemme check again.

Sure 'nuff it was you.

You are a rabid closet Qualcomm cheerleader - this post officially proves it and uncovers your ruse. (Heck, I bet you even sneak out onto a Yahoo board on occassion to cheerlead, under cover of another alias.)

<g>

BTW, as a Q shareholder, what news did you like better this week, the rumor of Telson taking on a more pronounced role for NOK, or news about BREW?
