DL, I have good reason to be confused. First you seem to say that Bush is guilty of socialistic approaches to education in Texas, and then post an article about a Hispanic student in Loveland, CL. I haven't had a chance to re-try your links, but having been a resident of Texas since 1942 until 3 weeks ago, I know that Bush's approach to education makes more sense than throwing federal money at a problem. It seems that we, kind of, agree with each other, but the path of communication has failed in some way. ~H~
