TA, you make it so difficult to just lurk, even when one wants to ...

First of all, Stocker's post was to Pat and was, in my estimation, well thought out. His point is valid, since last fall certain individuals had warned about the FO valuations, the slowdown in the economy and issues in the telco sector generally. Many chose to disregard those red flags; that is their choice. However, to argue that this advice was not valid or legimate is foolish; yet, you continue to do so on a daily basis. Cramer, just one of many, was right this time ... one day you will be right too.

Many of the same concerns raised 6 months ago have recently been validated by the companies themselves. Yet, at that time, they were snickered at. Some such as yourself, continue to do so daily.

Your response to Stocker was insulting as opposed to Pat's cogent and articulate reply to that same post. Why did I suspect anything different. Pat's insights are still the only reason to read this thread regardless of how much "opinion" you post as fact.

As far as your question to Stocker about knowing your investment / trading strategies, one only knows what you post.

Let's see, this week we were treated to the following:

Urging overextended use of margin to someone already facing a margin call ...

and ....

Urging buy, buy, buy as the stock approached it's steadily declining 50 DMA at 60. Since the fall the stock has tested and failed to break that level 5 previous times. Failure again was almost assured. Prudent advice would have been to wait for two closes over the 50 DMA before initiating any long position.

and ....

Blaming all your bad calls / advice / opinions on everything under the sun from some elderly lady having an operation to some left wing conspiracy that must be based in California. I'm truly waiting for you to blame yesterday's not unexpected pullback on Phil seeing his shadow.

So, not to speak for Stocker, but he, like I, most likely hopes that what you do is much different than what you tell others to do.

As Pat posted, nobody is right all the time and nobody is wrong all the time. Hang in there, your day will come.

Peace ... JB
